When Boise interior stylist Kirsten Grove recently visited Nashville, she met her match in the equally design-obsessed downtown Hotel Indigo Nashville. Hotel-curated itinerary in hand, Kirsten set off to discover the designers, musicians and chefs reshaping the city’s creative scene.
She compiled her favorite stops so you can follow Kirsten’s lead and discover for yourself why she loved this stylish destination:
Where to Eat
Adele’s, 1210 McGavock St
This restaurant blew my mind! It was a perfect depiction of farm-to-table. The potatoes were super yummy.
Frothy Monkey, 235 5th Ave North
The breakfast here tastes fresh and flavorful, and they have GF and vegan options. I ordered an iced almond milk lavender latte. It was perfect!
Five Daughters Bakery, 1110 Caruthers Ave
It’s a Nashville favorite and I quickly learned why! The donuts are unbelievably good!
Where to Drink
Butchertown Hall, 1416 Fourth Ave North
If you love beer, you’ll love this place. So many choices with amazing food to complement.
5th & Taylor, 1411 5th Ave North
A very calming place to get a drink after a long day’s work.
Where to Hear Live Music
The Stage, 412 Broadway
This place is iconic to Nashville. You will be sure to get a true Nashville experience while listening to some great live music.
Tootsies, 422 Broadway
I had to stop by Tootsies just because of the name alone! It was super fun to experience it and listen to some true Nashville jams.
Where to Shop
Imogene + Willie, 2601 12th Ave South
I could buy my jeans here forever and ever. Not only do they have the best fitting jeans but the shop is adorable. I loved all of the natural elements that they used for decor!
Savant Vintage, 2302 12th Ave South
This was one of the best vintage shops that I’ve ever been in! So much variety and one-of-a-kind treasures.
Where to Explore
Cheekwood Botanical Garden, 1200 Forrest Park Dr
I couldn’t even get over the beauty of this place! The mansion was unbelievable. The gardens were like nothing I’ve ever seen. You can find modern moments and classic moments all in the same place.
Where to Stay
Hotel Indigo Nashville, 301 Union St
Hotel Indigo was a comfortable yet stylish place to stay. The staff were all very kind and very helpful. The hotel is in a great central location and very walkable to downtown. The lobby felt unique and “non” hotel like. There were no details missed in this space! I felt like I was getting a true Nashville experience in a modern way.
